After
a full rebuild over the winter the test session on the National circuit at Silverstone gave the team the chance to run the
car for the first time. Despite the day being cut short by a failed starter motor
that was the result of a high speed spin at Copse corner we were happy with the performance of the car.
The
SR3 is a new car for the team so the test gave us all the chance to familiarise ourselves with the specifics of set up, servicing
etc. We found and fixed several small problems and have a job list to work through before our next test session at Castle
Combe in preparation for our first race of the season on Easter Monday.
